Do I need a boat licence?
For boats with a 30 hp engine, you don’t need a license.
Do I need previous experience to hire a boat?
No, our staff will give you a full tutorial and show you how to use the boat and all safety measures and equipment on board.
How old do I have to be in order to rent a boat?
You must be 20 years old or older to rent one of our boats.
Which are the rental options?
You can rent a boat for a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum for the whole day.
Do I need insurance?
All the lessors' boats are insured for injuries and property damage resulting from a collision at sea against third parties as required by Greek legislation.
Is there the necessary equipment in the boat?
Our boats are fully equipped with life vests for adults and children, a spare engine, radio, GPS tracker, sun protection, and all the necessary equipment according to the law.
Is it possible for children or babies to get on board?
Children and babies are permitted on board; they must always be safely seated with their lifejackets on, and with the attention of the parents.
I don’t know how to swim, can I yet on boat?
Yes, you can, just make sure you always have your life jacket on and follow the instructions that will be given in the briefing.
When do I have to book a boat?
We recommend you book the boat at least 2 days ahead.
Do I have to sign a contract?
You will have to sign a rental contract.
Is the boat trip safe?
As long as you respect the boat and the sea, yes it is. Please drive at a safe speed and follow all boating and navigation rules. Given the weather conditions, we guarantee that you are going to have a very nice boat trip.
Is the fuel enough for our trip?
All the boats are checked before leaving. A good rule of thumb regarding the amount of fuel needed for a trip is the ratio: one third for the trip out, one third for the return, and one third as reserve for unexpected reasons.
How far can we go?
During the safety instructions briefing, you will be informed of the exact location and distances you can go.
Can we get lost?
Actually no, as you will follow the coastline. All the boats are equipped with GPS. Additionally, there is an emergency phone number for help, and there is a GPS tracker so we can see your location in real time.
Who will pay the cost if the boat breaks down?
We make sure that our engines and boats are in excellent condition before leaving. If the damage is caused by you, you have to assume the cost of repair or replacement.
Do we need good weather?
We always check the weather forecast and give you instructions in order to be 100% safe and enjoy your boating day.
Is the fuel included in the price?
No, the fuel price is not included in the rental price; it is 2 euro per mile.
If I return the boat earlier, do I get some money back?
No, our pricing policy is for rentals of 4 hours or 8 hours, and you pay accordingly to your choice.
