Licensing & Requirements
Do I need a boat licence?
For boats with a 30 hp engine, you don’t need a license.
Do I need previous experience to hire a boat?
No. Our staff will give you a full tutorial and show you how to use the boat and all safety measures and equipment on board.
How old do I have to be to rent a boat?
You must be 20 years old or older to rent one of our boats.
Rental Options & Policies
Which are the rental options?
You can rent a boat for a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum for the whole day.
Do I need insurance?
All boats are insured for injuries and property damage resulting from a collision at sea against third parties, as required by Greek legislation.
When do I have to book a boat?
We recommend booking at least 2 days ahead.
Do I have to sign a contract?
Yes, you will have to sign a rental contract.
If I return the boat earlier, do I get money back?
No. Pricing is fixed for 4‑hour or 8‑hour rentals.
Safety & Equipment
Is the boat trip safe?
As long as you respect the boat and the sea, yes it is. Drive at a safe speed and follow all boating and navigation rules.
Is there the necessary equipment in the boat?
All boats are fully equipped with life vests (adults & children), spare engine, radio, GPS tracker, sun protection, and all legally required equipment.
Is it possible for children or babies to get on board?
Yes. They must always be safely seated with lifejackets on and under parental supervision.
I don’t know how to swim — can I still get on the boat?
Yes. Just make sure you always wear your life jacket and follow the briefing instructions.
Fuel, Distance & Navigation
Is the fuel enough for our trip?
All boats are checked before leaving. A good rule of thumb is: one third for the trip out, one third for the return, and one third as reserve.
How far can we go?
During the safety briefing, you will be informed of the exact locations and distances allowed.
Can we get lost?
No. You will follow the coastline, and all boats are equipped with GPS and a real‑time tracker.
Is the fuel included in the price?
No. Fuel is charged at 2€ per mile.
Weather & Conditions
Do we need good weather?
We always check the weather forecast and give you instructions to ensure a safe and enjoyable boating day.
Given the weather conditions, is the trip guaranteed?
Yes — we guarantee you will have a very nice boat trip when conditions allow.
Damage & Responsibility
Who pays the cost if the boat breaks down?
Boats are checked and maintained before departure. If damage is caused by misuse, the renter must assume the cost of repair or replacement.
